A Very Brief and Insincere Apology
I meant to write sooner, but... I'm lazy.

However, I now have an incentive to write, because...



November 25th is our one year anniversary!
At the time of this writing, we have over 50 items of art in our galleries, 50 members (out of 70 watchers overall), and 3,775 page views. Without you, none of it would be possible. (I would have lost interest, for one thing ^_^; )

As I'm sure you know, the Mai Otome OVAs are being released in Japan. It's only a matter of time before the fansubbers get their hands on them. I'm sure we'll all be counting the minutes... ^^

The Plain and Sickening English:
On a related note, I feel I should mention that I watched the trailer for the English dub of Mai-Hime a while back...

O_o Wow...

That reeeeeally sucked. :blegh: Even worse than the Azumanga Daioh dub... I've never really considered myself a subtitle enthusiast, but after seeing that, I can understand why some anime fans would be turned off from the English dubs. And I don't think I'm alone in my opinion, either. I've read many others that have said the same thing.
